Service Description

Class will begin with a short restorative yoga practice, then we’ll learn about and practice mindful meditation, and establish a personal gratitude practice. About Rachael: Rachael discovered yoga in 2014 while backpacking through Central America. She then deepened her practice over her university years in Vancouver, BC. As she studied wisdom in philosophy and literature, her practice and her schoolwork completed one another. Over the summers of her university years, she served as a summer camp site coordinator for numerous camps including grandparent camp and camps for children and adults with special needs, and she brought yoga to their camp experience. Holism is a priority for Rachael. She crafts yoga classes with a balance of body and mind, the former through sequencing and anatomy and the latter through meditation, reflection, and exposure to both Eastern and Western schools of thought. “Sometimes I sit and think, and other times I just sit.” -Leroy Satchel Paige
