We can't wait to see you for our summer program. Our camp is designed for young adults of all abilities. Our summer programming is a continuation of our Skill Builders Day Program with a lot more social and team building experiences.
Starts Monday, June 13 through Friday August 26 (10 Weeks)
Summer 2022 Day Camp

Weekly day club activities may include:
-Music and Arts Instruction: Materials provided. Live Ukelele jam sessions, Interactive hands-on art projects, and a special drumming class with instructors.
-Experience SPTV, our broadcasting course, and develop your public speaking skills, build confidence in your presentations, and put together your own live broadcast.
-Dance workshops: In person instructors to guide participants in a variety of dance techniques.
-In person Yoga and other exercise classes designed to get you moving and active.
-Flower Arrangement Workshop: Materials provided. Design and build your own bouquet of flowers to brighten anyone's day.
-Group trips to local museums/parks and hiking trails. Learn valuable travel skills, using public transportation (bus/metro).
-Build your own healthy lunch: Ingredients provided. Each participant will prepare their own tasty lunch, with instructional guidance.
-Outdoor sports: Daily sporting activities include: golf range and putting practice with instruction, Tennis/Badminton, volleyball, and cornhole competitions.
-Dance workshop: In person instruction of a variety of dance forms.
-More workshops planned.

What are the hours for the camp? Do you arrange transportation?
Camp Hours are 10 AM to 4 PM Daily from Monday to Friday starting on June 13. We can accommodate early arrivals, but please do let us know in advance.
At this time, we cannot arrange transportation to camp but depending on the situation, we may be able to provide drop-off service.
Who are the camp leaders?
Elma and Jon will managing the daily activities and also Ellen Salazar with the Sunshine Barkery activities. This year, we have new members to our day staff. Alaina Froh will be joining us as our artist in residence and will also be assisting with our day camp activities. Matt Mullaly and other instructors will also be teaching in person sessions throughout the summer. We will also have a number of high school volunteers to join us in some of our activities.
What if my child has food allergies?
Please let us know in advance, so that we can prepare food appropriate to your child. We offer both gluten and dairy free options. If you have any peanut or other allergies, please be sure to mention on your registration page.
What is your Covid Policy?
We take your health seriosly and we have handwashing stations throughout camp, physical distance expectations, and personal protective equipment. Each large gathering room also has Heavy Duty HEPA air filtration systems to ensure that the air is constantly purified. Anyone experiencing coughing, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fever, chills, muscle pain, sore throat, loss of taste, or smell will need to stay home. We ask each participant and family member to please inform us of any illness
