Inclusion isn't just a buzzword - it's a lifeline. For adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD), regular interaction with peers, mentors, and the community builds confidence, encourages independence, and fosters a true sense of belonging. When people are seen, heard, and included in everyday life, they flourish.

Whether its a group art class, a collaborative cooking session, or simply engaging in conversation, these interactions help strengthen communication skills and self-esteem. They also pave the way for social growth and resilience in real world settings.

Sunshine Projects embodies this through our vibrant mix of online and in person programs that bring people together in meaningful ways. Take our Sunshine Barkery for example; a dog biscuit business where participants learn baking, packaging, and customer service. This hands-on experience not only teaches valuable job skills but also instills confidence, pride, and purpose.

By interacting daily in such inclusive settings, individuals develop the confidence to navigate the broader world, proving that with the right support, everyone can shine!
